Charlie George reached the live finals of The X Factor in 2014, when he was part of teen group Only The Young at 17 years old.
The group failed to find fame from the show, with their debut single failing to reach the UK Top 5, and Charlie George is now preparing for a whole new challenge – becoming a father.
The 20 year old took to Instagram to share the scan of his unborn baby with his girlfriend Charlotte.
He wrote alongside the photo shared with his 114k followers: “I’ve done many things in my life. Some clever some stupid. Some good some bad and most importantly some that fill my heart with joy.
“I have starred on Britain’s most watched television show. I have played Wembley arena… 4 times. Wembley stadium I’ve played the o2 and nearly every other major stage in the country.
“I’ve flown to remote islands and visited countries galore. I’ve spent 8 years traveling as much as I can which my second family providing vintage funfairs, bars and event services for the likes of the vamps, olly Murs, Tom Hines and even Elton John.”

Charlie continued: “I have met billions of people along the way and tried to learn as much as I can. But we have moments that define us as people.
“Define our motives, outline our flaws and encourage us to peruse our ambitions. I may not have been the most reliable people or the most informative, but I have always held my head strong with my decisions and followed them through as it is always what feels right at the time.
“But it’s not good enough. Nothing will ever be good enough. At some point in the next two weeks I’m going to be a dad to the most beautiful little girl I will ever meet and I promise I will be the best I can be.
“I’m hoping that those billions of people have taught me something because this is something I’m scared s***less about. I’m nervous I’m excited but above all I’m full of love. @cjmayonaise keep bouncing. I want to meet her now.”
Charlie’s group Only The Young split up after Parisa Tarjomanji left the foursome.
Betsy-Blue English, Charlie George, Mikey Bromley and Parisa were mentored by Louis Walsh on The X Factor 2014.
