Former TOWIE star Lauren Goodger has slammed parents who go to work after having children.
The reality TV star was sharing her opinion after a childminder was sentenced after being secretly filmed pinching and slapping the baby she was looking after.
“This lady needs more than a sentence I feel so uncomfortable watching that I could cry, put me in a room with this women she needs this treatment done to her, I feel f**king raging,” she wrote on Twitter.
“This is why parents should NOT go to work and leave with a Nanny! I don’t care what people say.”
After receiving a backlash from followers, Lauren stood by her comments.
“No amount of money or career is worth leaving my baby with a stranger, never,” Mark Wright’s ex continued.

“It’s heartbreaking to think mums would still do this even after seeing this! Like I say if you know the nanny well or adult you’re leaving them with and you trust them, thats different story! Its not always the case.”
The 31 year old continued: “Actually not even wasting my time explaining, you know exactly what I’m saying about leaving your baby with someone you trust, yes even a nanny that you know well.
“I’d never leave my baby with someone I hired! Here’s your prime example why and I’ll NEVER change my view on this.”
Followers were quick to respond to her controversial comments.
“I think your stance on this shows your lack of understanding of normal life,” one wrote. “Most people don’t make money from magazine shoots, they have to do a 9-5 job to put food on the table. Slamming parents for having to work is no better than slamming people for their weight!”
Another wrote: “Get judged for being lazy and not working when you have a baby, and you get judged when you work.
“I think every mother would love to be a stay at home mother but unfortunately when you have mortgage and bills its not possible. We rely on nurseries/child minders to keep our kids safe.”
A third said: ‘”No amount of money’ some parents need to put there children in childcare to support them.
“What’s happened here is awful but rare. Don’t slam every working mother that uses childcare when you don’t even have kids yourself!”
