Strictly Come Dancing star Lee Ryan has spoken out after being placed in the bottom two with partner Nadia Bychkova on this week’s show.
Viewers were left shocked as the Blue singer and his professional partner were made to compete in the dance-off against Susannah Constantine and Anton du Beke, with the What Not To Wear star being the first contestant to be sent home.
Lee, 35, has now broken his silence on social media, insisting that he has thick skin and that he will “fight back” in the BBC dancing competition.
Alongside a photo of a rhino shared to his Instagram page, Lee wrote: “I didn’t survive this industry for 20 years now without growing some thick skin like this dude!!!

“I’ve been knocked down more times than a bowling pin. It’s how you come back fighting that shows the true strength and character of a person. You gotta drag me and @nadiyabychkova out of this show @bbcstrictly!!!”
It comes after reports that Strictly professional Anton du Beke was left “raging” after becoming the first dancer to be eliminated from the latest series of the show.

The star is one of the longest running professionals on the show, and it’s the first time he’s been kicked off during Week One.
Although Anton appeared to handle being voted out of the show, when the cameras stopped rolling a TV insider claims that the dancer lost his temper.

“Even when he has had other dance duds like Jerry Hall and Nancy Dell’Olio he has always managed to escape the chop for a few weeks,” a source told Daily Star.
“Susannah was one of the worst contestants the show has ever had. He tried his best with her, but the viewers didn’t want to save her and the judges didn’t rate her either.”
The insider finished: “It’s a massive blow to his ego. There are other bad dancers this year yet he is the one who has gone.”
Anton and Susannah’s dance was a flop with the judges on Saturday night, with Craig Revel Horwood giving the pair just one point.
