The reality TV stars are said to be in the early throes of dating after they “exchanged numbers” at a charity ball for pets this week.
According to sources at the bash, sparks flew between Stephanie Pratt and Pete Wicks – who proceeded to leave the party in the same car after chatting all night – and they’ve now committed to going on a date and will bring their furry friends.
An insider said: “Steph and Pete exchanged numbers at the end of the night and left the venue together.
“They’re planning on going on a dog walking date together. After spending the whole night talking they realised just how much they’ve got in common.
And her Made In Chelsea pals are said to be “super keen” on Pete because they see he has similar interests to Stephanie.
Speaking about The Only Way Is Essex star – who even released a book about french bulldogs, For the Love of Franchise – the source added: “Steph’s mates are super keen on Pete and think he’s the perfect match for her. He loves animals and does loads of charity work, just like her.

“Steph’s had a really awful few weeks with her ex Jonny and Pete is the perfect thing to keep her mind off him. Her pals are egging her on and would love for them to get together.”–
The pair were first spotted at the Grand Connaught Rooms in London at the Mayhews Tinsel and Tails Christmas Fundraiser, which they brought their dogs along to. Steph and Pete were sat at the same table and were getting on like a house on fire.
“They were laughing and joking all night. Everyone around them could sense the chemistry between them.
“They looked so comfortable in each other’s company,” the source continued to The Sun.
The news comes after Steph had a meltdown on Instagram over Jonny Mitchell after she suddenly broke up with the Love Island star.
A source said: “Friends are said to be really worried about Steph. She didn’t see this coming with Johnny and she’s feeling really let down. No one can reach her, which her friends know is a big sign that she’s not alright about what’s happened.”
