The Linkin Park frontman’s autopsy – obtained by TMZ – revealed he had a trace amount of alcohol in his system.

Chester Bennington’s blood also tested “presumptive positive” for MDMA based on one test.

Two subsequent tests did not detect the drug, and the conclusion was Chester wasn’t under the influence of drugs at the time of his death.

The publication also reports that a prescription bottle of Zopidem, or generic Ambient, was found on his dresser.

A pint glass of Corona and an empty bottle of Stella Artois was also found.

The report apparently also shows that police found fragments of his fingernails underneath his mobile phone – his wife, Talinda, apparently explained he would do that while anxious.

Chester didn’t leave a suicide note, but TMZ reports police found what they call an “apparent biography”, which was handwritten.

The singer had been prescribed anti-depressants in the past, but his wife claims he hadn’t taken them for over a year.

The Numb singer passed away at a private residence, in LA, aged 41.

Months after his death, his wife shared a heartbreaking video of her late husband filmed days before he died.
